Conservation:

With Megan Shrum I am currently working on an conservation education program called Lambas for Lemurs. Our objective is to promote the conservation of mongoose lemurs and their habitat.

We plan to educate Malagasy villagers about the importance of mongoose lemrus for the long term survival of a healthy forest. Along with our education program we will be printing lambas, local cloths similar to a sarong used as traditional dress, with images of mongoose lemurs and a message of conservation. Our goal is to instill regional pride in the local villagers concerning the mongoose lemur as they are only found in a very limited range within north west Madgascar. Please visit our website to learn about our project and how you can help.http://www.savethelemurs.com/shapeimage_1_link_0
